So now that it is a whopping 50 degrees outside for the last week or so the snow has melted enough that Troy has started clearing out some more of our trees around our house. I came home from work to find Troy tromping through the woods in some sweet camo Wranglers tucked into his Xtra Tufs to match his Carhartt shirt, just in case all of you didn't know my husband is a red neck, these pictures should go ahead and comfirm it. Unfortunately for all of you Troy noticed I had the camera and pulled off his Elmer Fudd had before I could snap that up on film. He got quite a few trees cleared out this weekend, we just have to wait for the snow to melt a little more before he can pull out the stumps, but if he isn't gone too much this summer it looks like a might get a lawn and a deck too. Enjoy these fantastic pictures:D

Hey everyone just thought I'd put in my tri-monthly posting so you all know that me and Troy are still alive and kicking. Well I'm sure everyone has heard about our wonderful Mt. Redoubt erupting and erupting and erupting. So we got some pretty cool pictures from one of Saturday's and the sky was clear so they turned out pretty good, so here's a picture from that. Other than Mt. Redoubt not much new is happening here with us, just still working a lot. Troy has taken up a new hobby, he's decided that he wants to start duck hunting and so he's training our new dog Boss to be a ducky dog and it's pretty funny to watch, because Boss really doesn't love fetching and usually just sits and looks at Troy like ya right I'm not going to go grab that stupid fake duck. So we'll see if by this next duck season if Boss is actually ready to be a hunting dog. Well we love you all and will post again sometime soon.

So I'm going to try to post at least once every couple weeks even if it's just a little blurp. Right now we have Missy and Matty staying with us right now while Mom and Daddy are visiting Amy and Jerr. It's been pretty good so far, Matt even helped clean up dinner the other night and when I asked what he was doing he just said "Dad taught me well". Haha so thanks Dad. We are both working a lot these days, I've just been working at the shoe store still and Troy has been working 7 days a week at the shop in North Kenai, which makes a long comute for him, but it's nice to have him home every night, so it's better than the platform that way, but it makes him tired poor guy. But we love you all and miss everyone!

Hey everyone, I know I haven't posted in a couple six months or so, but I finally have some new pictures to put on here. I got Troy a new little golden retriever puppy for his birthday(the best present ever according to him) so I thought I would put up some pictures of the little boss man, and his not so happy sister Millie. They day we brought him home was probably the worst day of her life seeing as he doesn't let her steal his bones or his duck so it's just been a bad week for Millie girl, but they are getting along a little better these days. She even got him to run away from Troy with her down the road. They almost made it, but it's a good thing Troy's fast, and they both ended up in the time out bed totoally busted.

Well everyone it is official, Troy and I are now home owners, we signed our papers Friday and I have been painting the house ever since. Troy had to go back to the platform and probably won't be home again for a month, but when he gets home him, Matty, and his little brothe Tyler are going to clear out a bunch of our trees and get a lawn put in for me, lucky them:) But that is our new exciting news, when I get done painting I will even put some pictures of my newish house on here. Love you all! -The Glidden's
